Eveline reading

I think "Eveline" is sort of like "An Encounter" in the sense that with the narratives being so ambiguous that the point to the story can
only be found in an emotional response: a feeling of un-easiness that the author chooses to convey.
"Eveline" leaves you up short: without resolution: and the reader can be un-satisfied, and I think that's what he wants -the author -
because I think Eveline is perhaps unsatisfied too.
(I didn't particularly like the reading, it is the first time I've ever listened to anything being read. It was the pacing and emphasis
that I found slightly off compared with my own cadence when reading.)
Thank you for recommending.

I thought it captured the beauty and bleakness of the story superbly. Really recommend it.
