Quick Reads for December-February

I think A Christmas Story would be a delightful read for this (and any other) December! If you agree (or do not speak against which in this club is pretty much the same), I'll set it for December :) Of course, it still leaves us with the other two months to fill. Any ideas?

I have read and seen A Christmas Story."
Yes, for an example, 84 Charing Cross Road could have been one, if I hadn't already approved it as a monthly read. Anything goes actually - articles, stories, novellas and plays.
Great, I've read it too, I just hope if I put it on the bookshelf, it may entice other members who haven't to read it too :)

Great suggestions, Blueberry! I am surprised we haven't read Animal Farm yet. I was sure we did. I probably just read it on my own. Anyway, we've read for sure only The Importance of Being Earnest, check this page: The Importance of Being Earnest.
I am not sure if The Ghost and Mrs Muir and Mrs Dalloway belong here, but well, they are not that long either. I was thinking of books 150 pages long or less. Nevermind, it's ok, this all will make a really nice poll :)

Oops, while the library told me it was coming from L.A. it actually came from only the next county over.

Ouch, I guess I'll be in the same trouble or even more if it wins. Now I remembered one other story I wanted to add at some point - An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge. There was a brilliant short film based on it, La rivière du hibou.

Haha alright.
Haha alright.
A Christmas Story aside (it makes more sense to simply add it to December, you know, appropriate time of year regardless of your faith and/or denomination), here's the poll for the rest of offered short reads:
