Preferrably YA fiction where a parent (or parents) is racist or phobic of others' religions. Child (preferrably a teen) realizes they are wrong. Broken pedestal sort of complex.

I've already read Darren Shan's Zom-B and Bright Lights, Dark Nights and Black Dove, White Raven are on my TBR.

If you're looking for more suggestions, a slightly older one is Iggie's House by Judy Blume. It's about a black family moving to a very white neighbourhood. The white main character's parents aren't exactly overtly racist but they do have prejudices which she begins to realise and disagree with.
