1) You can search for your favorite author by hitting the hourglass. For example, Asimov's name comes up on 93 of the pages, Philip K Dick's on 103 pages, Alan Dean Foster on 73, Andre Norton on 46, Spock on 26, and Battlestar on 52.
2) 50 Page Friday. Every Friday, Del Rey Spectra has been placing a 50 page excerpt of a selected title on Unbound Worlds. Most of these are by authors I have heard of. This week's 50-page excerpt is from a James Luceno Star Wars book (Tarkin) I haven't read yet: http://www.unboundworlds.com/2016/11/...
The exciting news is that this huge company is starting its science fiction and fantasy line, called Unbound Worlds, and revamping its online presence. Basically, this new line and the associated website will significantly expand what is being published in science fiction, serve as a news site for the industry, have cool contests, and have ways to hear from favorite authors.
