Grace (fictionaladventures) | 8 comments Please tell me if this YA book idea sounds like something you'd be interested in reading (be as brutally honest as possible!):

Cass loves Christmas, but she's lived in Florida all her life, so she's never seen snow. When she finds out that one of her neighbors, Jeremiah, is going on a road trip to New York to spend Christmas with his brother, she tags along, telling her parents she's staying with a friend only an hour away from home. Cass thinks this is the perfect opportunity to get her first white Christmas. On the way to New York, Cass and Jeremiah can't deny the attraction between them, but when Cass finds out that Jeremiah's brother—the one they're on their way to visit—is the guy who broke her heart last summer, she's not so sure this is a good idea anymore. Not to mention the fact that there's no way she can keep this secret from her parents for long...

Trinity | 12 comments It would be ok I guess. It would need to have drama, sadness, happiness, drama (I know I've said this, but it's important with this idea), drama and all of the other parts that make up a book!

Maria Adaway (maria-valerie) I think it sounds like a good plot but my advice would be to try not to make it clichè. You should also intertwine so dark twists to make it more interesting aswell

Thank you! What are the cliches it seems like it may be leaning toward? (That way I make sure to avoid those!)

Maria Adaway (maria-valerie) things like love at first sight (try to make the so-called couple argue a bit first maybe ??), falling in love with the exception instantly, the women being the weaker character of the two, etc

message 10: by Gleidis (new)

Gleidis it sounds like a cute christmas Ya. I would read it, because i like christmas books, but it needs an extra something to call everyone's attention cause the synopsis is giving everything away. Maybe give another secret reason to go on the trip, aside from the snow. Maybe she wants to get back at the guy who broke her heart and then she discovers that the guy she wants to humiliate is the brother of the guy she is falling for.... Idk.
But still, how ever you write it, send an arc and I will write you a review. :)

Khadijah | 52 comments Sounds like a wicked book (& very cute which i love) but i think you can reword some of the synopsis to make it sound more suspenseful

Tanysha | 7 comments It sounds like it is one of those books that could either be REALLY good or REALLY bad.

Any thoughts on what would make it REALLY good and what would make it REALLY bad?
