What are you reading, March 2017?

*Updated 3/1* (Because I finished another book on 2/28)

February Stats
11: Number of books on my initial TBR list (Excluding Gone with the Wind because I did not intend to finish that one)
8: Number of books I actually read from my TBR list
3 4: Number of books I read that were not on my TBR list
11 12: Total number of books read overall :-)

Still... I'm going to try to keep March more manageable, haha!

Gone with the Wind
What She Knew (Book Club)
Smash & Grab (potential read, depends on meeting location for YA Book Club)
Riding the Bus with My Sister: A True Life Journey
The Long Winter
Girls in Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood
Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood
Insurgent
And, if I finish all of the aforementioned books, I will start
The Time Traveler's Wife

Of course, this should be a more productive reading month for me since I'm making a solo trip up to NJ for my sister's baby shower. I'll have lots of hours to kill at the airport and on the plane!

Kelsey I'm currently reading The Bean Trees, and if I don't finish that in the next five days, then it'll be finished in the very early days of March.

I also picked up Highly Sensitive People in an Insensitive World: How to Create a Happy Life from the library, which I'll get to very soon.

I'm also hoping to read Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea, but I may not get to that this month, because I just ordered three books from Kristina McMorris, so I may read those!

And, of course, I'm still currently reading Gone with the Wind :)

message 4: by Pien (new)

Pien | 601 comments I'll be reading:

The haunting on Hill house

And rereading
Gone with the wind
And The time travelers wife

And I'm looking forward to see which book will be our book of the month! Hope to join reading that one too!

Pien, that sounds like a good month to me!

Teresa | 131 comments Our high school's annual Kindle Tournament began today so I have some books to read over the course of the next few months based on how the books advance through the brackets. I will begin with Fire Color One. Still reading The Time Traveler's Wife and The Count of Monte Cristo. Will have some challenges to fulfill for a couple of groups and a buddy read so have Night Road then whatever books I can get read in my TBR pile and have started with Firefly Lane.

Bkwmlee | 544 comments This is what I've got lined up for March so far, though this is subject to change depending on a few things (waiting to hear back on a few ARCs I requested plus the new books I recently ordered):

The Light Between Oceans (need to finish for our February BOTM)

Rivers of London (BOTM for my other book club, also A to Z challenge)

My Last Lament (ARC from Penguin, also diversity challenge)

Gone: A Girl, A Violin, A Life Unstrung by Min Kym (ARC from Penguin)

I’m barely halfway through the book but overall, I’m liking the story so far. Can’t stand a few of the characters though….hopefully they are less irritating by the end of the book. :-)

Woot! I finished all the books I planned to read this month except for Insurgent which I'll finish next month so I can use it for my April Spell Out challenge. Snuck in a few additional books as well!
:-D

Is there a thread for April? I can't find it...

message 18: by Kelsey (new)

Kelsey I finished everything I planned on reading, too! It wasn't much, but it was still an accomplishment :)

I don't think there is a thread yet for April, as I can't find one either.

Thanks for the reminder, Kelsey and Erin. Allison is going to be busier than usual for the next few weeks, so I went ahead and posted a thread for 'What are you reading, APRIL 2017?":

message 20: by Kelsey (new)

Kelsey No worries! I just didn't know if I wasn't seeing it for some reason.
