Oh, and we might as well cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Alrich, put his weird face to some good use :P

Am I the only person that didn't know this was being made for TV?

It is still listed as being "In Development" on the production company "Character Seven"s website

I was thinking of Minne Driver for Ingrid.
I think Neil McDonough would be good as one of the Gestalt people. He always gives me the creeps.

2 things about that: 1) considering that this book was written by an Australian man in America and really doesn't feel very British at all, I don't think we need to pay close attention to people's accents. I certainly haven't.
2) Yeah, thing about that is, Shantay is black. Like, he's very explicit about that. He may have drooled a little when he wrote what a beautiful black woman she is. Be a bit awkward to cast one of the whitest white persons in pop culture memory in her role ;)
Speaking of which, how about Florence Kasumba as Shantay?

That's funny because I had Cumberbatch in mind for Aldrich as well, but had Pierce Brosan visualized as Grantchester. I like Daniel Craig for some of Gestalt

Brosnan works. I'd just pictured him as a 60s sportscoat-and-turtleneck type, because of the room.
Hmmm. How about Scott Bakula?
