Books Read:

January - Sports - The Silver Linings Playbook
What an amazing book! The movie is such crap when compared to the actual book! Read it!
February - Non-Fiction - When Breath Becomes Air
Not a big fan. I know I'm in the minority here but... BORING.
March - Space Opera - Scarlet
The second installment in the Lunar Chronicles literally blew my socks off! I loved the relationships and the introduction of new characters!
April - Mythology - Fairest
Wow. This was a hard read. If you thought it'd open your heart up to Levana, you're wrong..
May - Crime - The Widow
I very much enjoyed the suspense in this book. It was perfectly played and not overly drawn out like some crime novels. Highly recommend!
June - Friendship - The Women in the Castle
Amazing! A bit dull in some parts but overall seriously intriguing!
July - Contemporary - Thirteen Reasons Why
Blah. IDK - dull and overly dramatic at the same time.
August - YA Fantasy - A Wrinkle in Time
It's really slow going for me. I remember enjoying this book as a child but looking back I'm wondering how that's possible..
September - YA 'Steampunk' - The Handmaid's Tale
Well.... the ending still hurts me (also I have no idea why this is listed as 'steampunk' but tbh I was less than thrilled with the subject initially so I'm pleased to have found a book to read period).
October - Horror - Bad Girls Don't Die
Cheesy? Yes. Predictable? A bit. Enjoyable? TOTALLY! Gave me a few scares too.
November - Historical Fiction - See What I Have Done
A bit boring overall. We learn what we've always suspected - Lizzie is crazy like the day is long.
December - Romance - The Diplomat's Daughter
