Hi everyone, my name is Krista and I am a bookaholic. I absolutely love to read and cannot make it through a day without reading something. I once went to a romantic B&B with my husband for a weekend and realized I forgot to pack my book(s) right around bed time. I made him get up and get dressed to take me to the nearest Walmart (since bookstores were all closed) so I could get something to make it through the weekend. I have been looking to join a local book club for years, but it seems that everyone around me is overextended timewise and just do not want to commit. I think this is the next best thing. I can still drink a glass of wine and discuss books.

I have books in the car, in my tote, in my room and I have a tablet and my phone with Kindle app so that if I'm ever without, I can make do with the Kindle app. I always have my phone with me and therefore, I will always have BOOKS. Personally, I prefer actual books to electronic versions, but just to be safe, I have access to electronics (no more midnight trips to Walmart while on vacation for me)

Ariel, I'm trying to branch out too!! I found a really good way to do it, besides being involved in groups like this, maybe try some book challenges? This year I'm doing Pop Sugar and Book Riot, and also trying to choose some books off of the Rory Gilmore reading challenge and the 1001 books you must read before you die list. Definitely taking me out of my comfort zone :-)

I carry a book everywhere with me in my purse simply because I may have a minute here or there. There are books scattered throughout my house and car. I have a real book, an e-book and an audiobook on the go at all times and I spend waaay too much money on books. I also thoroughly enjoy shopping for beautiful bookcases to display said books. It's a sickness I tell ya.
