Scott Hitchcock (lostinthewarrenofchaos) | 163 comments So Stonewielder is a sword given to Greymane by the riders. It was hinted at in NOK that their purpose wasn't evil. So now the question why has the goddess set the islanders against them?

Interesting who this lady is who wanted to see Greymane had for moxie.

Boy I was hoping Kiska was going into the Deadhouse and was going to pull Kalam out. Agayla and the Queen? of Dreams? Last time she appeared was in the Bonehunters with Leoman and that wasn't a fond memory.

Seeing Corlo and Ironbars broken down was rough. Between them and Greymane I wonder about them turning on the defenders and helping the riders break through.

Manask and Ipshank remind me of some of SE's off British humor characters.

Eugenio | 108 comments Yes the question of the Lady creating this huge wall to stop the riders; why did she ask for this to be constructed? And why have the Korelians just followed her wishes?

Many thousands of years have probably gone by since the prologue, and the evolution of the religion following the Lady can't surely be captured in the one book. (I see the Stormguard as the devoutest of the devout). But it would have been nice to see a note early on as to the reason for the hate the Lady has towards the Riders

I think that's part of the mystery so I'm ok with it.

Eugenio | 108 comments If I was told "Hey, go build this wall, block those water guys" I think I would have some questions.

I cannot clearly remember, did the olden times Korelians have a fear of the Riders? Maybe the Lady built off that fear

Scott Hitchcock (lostinthewarrenofchaos) | 163 comments These three clips explain it.

She has come! She has delivered them from certain annihilation at the lances of the sea-demons! Not knowing what to say he knelt on one knee, offering wordless obeisance. Behind him Will and Otten knelt as well.

The figure took a great sucking breath. ‘Outlander,’ it boomed, ‘you have come to settle the land. I welcome you and offer my protection.’ The Goddess gestured with a gnarled and twisted hand to the block at her feet . ‘Take this most precious sarcophagus . Within rests flesh of my flesh. Carry it along the coast. Trace a path. Mark it and build there a great wall. A barrier.

‘They won’t be back. At least, not near us.’ He extended a palm to the black glittering block. Heat radiated from it as from a stone pulled from a fire. Flesh of her flesh. Good Goddess! Gracious Lady! May we never fail you or your trust.

Eugenio | 108 comments Ok so she built off their fear of the Riders.

So the original Korelians were invaders and basically took lands which the Riders probably always used. Why the Lady needs a wall built is another question for another day. ;)
