We all have books that sit on our shelves, virtual or not, that just never get our attention. This challenge is aimed at helping you change that.

Each month, we volunteer for the challenge and then someone will pick a book from your shelf for you to read, you will pick someone else's. I think of we open a monthly thread, then list our names, we can choose for the person below us. If this doesn't work we'll have to try it a different way.

I'm thinking:
25-30th - sign up.
1-5 - choose a book for partner

Then we have the rest of the month to read it and comment.

We'll tweak as we go if this doesn't work.

I also think that you'll need accessible shelves, perhaps a specific one for this.

I forgot all about this. Is anyone actually interested? I had expected the nominating person.

Scott Hitchcock (lostinthewarrenofchaos) | 443 comments I'm interested but I've overbooked myself with different group reads and completely forgot we were doing this.

You can pick anything from the shelf above that isn't over 600 pages and not from the excluded below. The 600 page exclusion is because I'm a bit overbooked with groups read for Feb as well and the exclusions below because they are group reads from future months.

Hope and Red
The Demon King
Traitor's Blade
Arm of the Sphinx

Margret I'd do it. Keep in mind everything is subject to library holds etc for me!

Shall we pick books to do in March then?

That would be fine with me.
