a book set in the wilderness

You can't get much further into the wilderness than these three primatologists in Primates: The Fearless Science of Jane Goodall, Dian Fossey, and Biruté Galdikas.

We travel to the depths of Tanzania, Rwanda, and Borneo. I even embarked on my own research after reading this and I discovered that National Geographic even described Galdikas's work as taking place in an area that is "extremely inhospitable to most Westerners." We not only see their dedication to their work, but the struggles they endured due to the locations of their observations.

I learned quite a lot about the Goodall, Fossey, and Galdikas, as well as the contributions their research had on the scientific community. While this book is a mixture of fact and a dose of artistic license, I still recommend it, especially to budding scientists who may find these journeys inspiring!

It's quite possible. I don't know much about it, so I can't really say. But I assume that if the setting/action mostly takes place in the forest, it should. Like, I think The Hunted by Meagan Spooner would go here, again I haven't read it though.

is that the new beauty and the beast retelling? I'm hoping that's in the book boyfriend box for April ! I don't know what would fit into that category as far as new releases go I was guessing that one would be it though !

Most of it is set them travelling in the woods and staying in the woods for ever the hunted, sometimes they're in town but mostly travelling in the forest

Book boyfriend box? Which book subscription is that for? it sounds fantastic. And it is the new Beauty & the Beast retelling. I sampled a few chapters on EpicReads and it was interesting enough to read more.

Ever the Hunted definitely sounds like a wilderness read then lol.

book boyfriend is a sub box basically like owl crate or any other but its bi monthly ...last month i got carve the mark a bath bomb some socks some sweet book marks ...and they have a readathon with the book as well ...i like testing new book sub boxes now and then i think bookish box will always be my favourite though hard to justify shipping and exchange rate for many to Canada so the bi monthly isnt that bad lol

I took a look at Book Boyfriend and they have had some cool boxes! Their April box is all sold out D: (It's Beauty and the Beast, so I can understand why). I will have to keep an eye out for their next opening. Ugh lol

I do like the idea of a bi-monthly subscription box.

And here I will put by Mackenzi Lee , a fantastic story with travel, pirates, and snogging.

There is a brief moment where our main cast (Henry, Percy, and Felicity) find themselves wandering through the woods. From there they find themselves in Barcelona, Spain, Venice, and tons of other fantastic places to travel in the 1700s.

I whole-heartedly loved this book and would gladly read other books from Henry's perspective. While I'm looking forward to Felicity's companion story, Henry had me laughing the hardest. Everyone loves a good rake!

I think this ends up more as MiddleGrade, but by Victoria Scott is mostly set in the wilderness.

I love Victoria Scott, but this wasn't her best work.

The Wolf Road

This was an awesome book set in the wilderness!
