Bound
Cinder
Both were "true," but Bound had added interest (for me) because it was true to the Chinese version of the Cinderella story!
Less "true" but very interesting: The Stepsister's Tale
I'm also currently reading an amusing Cinderella retelling called "If the Shoe Fits" posted on swoonreads.com.
And unforgettable (though I read it years and years ago)--Ella Enchanted
A long time ago, I read Ash, but I found it too slow and long--probably I was in an impatient mode at the time. I ended up skimming it rather than luxuriating in it.

Which books have you read? What did you think of them? Which one did you like best? Wich one did you like least? Why? Which one was truest to the original cinderella story?
