Except there is more to Dax than meets the eye. As he and Autumn first grudgingly, and then not so grudgingly, open up to each other, Autumn is struck by their surprising connection. But can their feelings for each other survive once the weekend is over and Autumn’s old life, and old love interest, threaten to pull her from Dax’s side?

Don't know really, in those kind of situations I remind myself that these are ykung people and sometimes their decisions don't make much sense, I remember myself when I was 17. I wouldn't understand teenage me either. (hide spoiler)]

In the end, I liked the book, but it was the worst one by Kasie West so far.
He only part that I can say I liked because ot was presented well was (view spoiler)[ her anxiety. I c@n't say that that I liked either one's decisions. (hide spoiler)]

Wow, you guys are so quick. It is a very quick read though. I had a family party tonight so I couldn't sit and read like I would have liked to do :)
Up Chapter 15

(view spoiler)[ I love the relationship they are forming so far she is full of friends yet insecure and suffers from anxiety. He is kind of angry and a loner. I love the games she finds for them to play. The slinky down the stairs brought back many childhood memories of my sister and I. (hide spoiler)]

This is my first Kasie West book and I cannot wait to read some more of hers. I knew it was a YA love story and I figured it would be like most of the other YA contemporary love stories. This author is so good at spinning the same ol same ol and making you want to finish and see how it ends.

I just couldn't put it down I had to have the happy feel good ending and Kasie West didn't disappoint me at all.

I am so happy that her friends didn't turn their backs on her when she told them she chose Dax. What a fun, cute story. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[Another entertaining read by Kasie West. While it's not my favorite of hers, that still belongs to On the Fence, it had many aspects that I did love and enjoy. The idea of being trapped in a library was interesting, a little unbelievable nowadays with almost everywhere having an emergency exit, but I let that go for the sake of the story. I remember when I was younger thinking it'd be cool to spend a night in the library, so besides the fact that this was written by West I knew I'd want to read it for that. The main characters were very likable and each had an issue to deal with/overcome. Autumn deals with anxiety issues, which sound very scary. Dax hasn't had the happiest home life and his story, when I finally learned it all, was sad. I do wish there would've been a little more about at the end, but all in all it was a very nice read and one I'd recommend to any YA contemporary fan.
