David Carnoy | 2 comments Hey, folks, this group seems a little dead, but our intrepid Moderator-at-large, Feliks, suggested I post something here and see what happens.

I wrote this new novel, Lucidity (released Feb. 7). It's the third in a series but can be read as a standalone.

Overlook Press published it (no, it's not self-published). Publishers Weekly gave it a starred review. (You can read it here: http://www.publishersweekly.com/978-1...). It's relatively cheap ($7.50) on Kindle and other digital platforms. It's not cheap in hardcover, but it's a really nice looking book and you can pass it on or sell it when you're done with it.

To check whether the group has any life to it, I'm giving away 10 free digital copies. Just message me and I'll email you a .mobi (Kindle) or ePub (iPhone/iPad) file. First 10 get it. Thanks for reading.

David Carnoy | 2 comments Check your Goodreads in-boxes (folks you've replied). I sent you messages requesting email addresses. Please message me if you want a digital copy -- but I can't email you one without an email address.

It is somnolent around here (actually almost all Goodreads readers' groups have gone to sleep since the Goodreads website decided to 'marginalize' this whole section).

But, I don't think we ought to be concerned. I privately hope the 'inactivity' means that more people are actually reading books, instead of surfing the web...
