Ethan Ransom Theory

One thing I have to say though, is this theory doesn't work because of the trademark "Ravenel eyes" the dark blue with the black rim would be from the male Ravenel line, not from Pandora & Co's mother. So more likely he is the illegitimate son of their father. Which is perfect, he can be book 5 after Cassandra! :P

Drat, I guess you must be right - I didn't realize it had been established that those eyes were passed down from their father. Still curious about the name, though. Maybe it's just a coincidence that Lillian's brother was named Ransom, too. I guess Lisa Kleypas just has a fondness for the name lol.
I'm SO down for a Book 5! On her website, it says the Ravenels are a 4-book series, though. The next one must be Cassandra, so hopefully Lisa will be back to historicals for good and begin another series afterwards with the first book being Ransom's (and Dr. Gibson's??? I think so...)

What about West? He's a Ravenels too right? The fourth book will be either about Ethan or West imo...

Lisa confirmed me more less this.. west will get the his own book ( or 2in1 ) and the other half should be a challenge for him ..
randsom and gibson. Before the last book a 'ship" her with west . know.. i see West with Phobe ( Gabriels older sister)

Interesting! Yeah, I didn't think West/Cassandra made much sense lol, just trying to picture how the Ravenels would end up only a 4-book series. West + Phoebe was something I thought of, too. So many possibilities! I just hope he gets a full book and not a novella.
Ahh the anticipation!

On Cassandra's case, my mind is shouting Tom Severin! I'm going crazy.
As for West, I have no idea. This is so frustrating. Haha

I know!! I need some info STAT! lol

How could I forget Tom Severin... He's such an intriguing character...
Apologize before I forgot that we are already in the third book, so we only have one more book to go.... I don't know why but in my mind it's the second book and we still have two books to go for two characters. My bad xD

I don't get how this series is only 4 books and the next one is Dr Gibson's! What about Cassandra, West, Severin...??? Hope Kleypas has something else up her sleeve for those characters...

YESSSS!!!! I'm sooo happy she confirmed it's a 6-book series and that (view spoiler) . It's awful how much I'm looking forward to the next books and, knowing the current pattern, it'll be a year between each one!!! Aghhhhh. Especially since I'm most looking forward to (view spoiler) . I hope the anticipation doesn't lead to disappointment. Thanks for sharing the link!

I hope so too! I hope the next books are everything we hope for! And also hope the last book are worth the wait!

What if Ethan Ransom was the illegitimate son of Lady Treanear (Pandora, Cassandra, and Helen's mother) and Ransom, Lillian Bowman's American brother??
This would explain the connection to the last name - perhaps a pseudonym, or the name he was given before being adopted by the parents he alludes to in DIS. Westcliff mentions Lord Treanear coming to his estate to hunt and says he never brought his family, but perhaps that statement didn't extend to Lady Treanear? And that may be where she met Lillian's brother...?
Anyway, totally farfetched I'm sure, but I had to post my thoughts somewhere!
