Three quarters done. How are you hoping the ending will turn out? Anything stand out to you? Have any of the characters changed for the better or worse? Any other thoughts?

Melanie Certainly took a turn for the sinister and there were a few moments that left my gasping for air. The prophet, the disappearance of the the Symphony members, the house left in pristine condition. Creepy and alien, but sooo good.

Wendy (wmaresca) I agree with you Melanie it is getting stranger and stranger. It is almost like the station eleven comic is omen of some kind. Like it is foretelling the future of the world. Part 6 answered some of my questions as in how Arthur received a copy of the comic and also if they got back together in the end. Arthur is very frustrating. He falls in and out of love some many times. I am beginning to think maybe he should not have ever married anyone. Something else that seems really strange is how Clarke and now Miranda have mentioned that it seems like he is constantly acting. I am probably rambling but just different things are popping into my head.
The house that it seems know one ever saw or ever went into was also very strange. How did after all these years know one ever see or ransack this house. It just sat there untouched. That doesn't seem right either.
At the end of Part 6 Miranda is on the beach it seems like she has a large part in this much larger than she even knows. At least that is what I am thinking. I am hoping she survives that maybe those large boats can save her. ?

Wendy, I still wonder how that comic is going to come into play. I'm convinced it will!

I am also convinced all of these people are somehow connected. Clark, Jeevan, Kirsten, the Prophet even. I don't know yet what that connection is other than Arthur. (Can you guess who I am pretty sure the prophet is?) But how did these people all survive? Seems like a crazy coincidence, but on the other hand it would make sense that there would be some level of connection among survivors of a pandemic. Right?

I am planning on finishing this weekend.

Samantha Leighanne (sleighanne) So I just finished part 6, and I can't stop reading! The fact that the flight that Clark and Elizabeth get on gets stopped in Michigan is interesting since the symphony travels in the Great Lakes area so I'm just dying to see how it's all connected!
Gotta say that Arthur is not my favorite character, I find it hard to have any kind of sympathy for him in any way just because everything he does is for his own benefit it seems, no matter the pain he causes other people.
I was also not a fan of the non-linear storytelling at first but at this point I think it really adds to the atmosphere and the tension.

Tink (beadlebooks) i am in love with this book! OMG i had no idea it was going to be like this, i didn't really know what to expect. Totally agree that Arthur should never have married anyone ever! XD haha so excited to see how this ends :) everything is intertwined so well :O

Patricia | 19 comments It was sad how Jeevans brother, Frank, took his life. Frank was such a strong no nonsense kind of man. He saw the realities of life and made tough decisions based on facts. Unlike his brother, Jeevan, who was more of a "let's just wait and see, things will work out for the best" kind of guy. It was hard for him to make the tough decisions and in the end, Frank did what he thought was the only solution so his brother could move on.
I can finally see how things are starting to come together when the plane Clark and Elizabeth was on was diverted to Severn City and Clark became the curator of the "museum". Everyone seems to be emerging slowly together.
Amazing to think of everything we have now as being old relics from a past life that is now extinct.

I loved how everything intertwined! It was definitely a highlight of the book for me. It kept me trying to figure things out and then amazed at the story so expertly woven together!
