Lulu (lrallison) | 8 comments Now, are we all going to read the same book? Or are we going to discuss in a more open way? We could start a list of recently published Unbound books and discuss them as readers in an ad-hoc way? Or make a book for the month type list.

Certainly for the time being, I propose we float around and see how things develop, but I thought I may as well keep the conversation going!

Happy Sunday evening, all x

Lulu (lrallison) | 8 comments Hi Ivy, I'm blundering around a bit too. But I think we'll manage to find a shape for it! For example, I am not sure if all group members see these messages - could someone let me know? Once I know, I have an idea to share.
x Lou

Mike Shanahan | 1 comments Hi Lou - yes, I got emails notifying me of your and Ivy's messages

message 5: by Ivy (new)

Ivy Ngeow | 2 comments No I did not see this until today - how do you get notifications. I am only logging in once every fortnight so I did not know of the messages until I log in.

Lulu (lrallison) | 8 comments I am not sure Ivy. Perhaps we should duplicate on the FB page for now until we can make this a 'thing'?

Jennie What are we going to do next?? Maybe we should have a regular day/time slot to chat do stuff here

Hi Jennie, perhaps a regular slot would be good. Do we collectively have time to set and read a book at the same time? It would be great if so, but I suspect it might be a stretch time-wise? What does anyone think?

Or we could get together and discuss books more generally, what is on our lists etc?

I would be happy to do a classic book club, read an Unbound/other indy book a month and discuss it as we go, but we would then be needing to decide how it is chosen, which books get read. Feel free to throw in your thoughts people.

Shona Kinsella | 3 comments I'm in favour of picking a book a month to read as a club but we could certainly discuss other books we're reading at the same time.

We could try something like getting together here for discussion on a Sunday afternoon for example, but join in more broadly as and when we're able.

Lulu (lrallison) | 8 comments That sounds like a good idea. What do others think?
