This is still a problem. If you are entering awards please use the awards search on this page https://www.goodreads.com/award to see if the award is already on GR & how it has been entered. Copy & Paste the award title here https://www.goodreads.com/award/show/... (only leave the word Winners off) No matter how slight the difference - for example Goodreads Choice Awards instead of Goodreads Choice Award will create a new award in the system.
Thanks :)

Hi Bivek
As you aren't a librarian you don't have to do this. My post is directed at librarians who aren't using the format when an award is already on Goodreads. :)

What's So Amazing About Grace/Where is God When It Hurts includes two book, both were awarded:
What's So Amazing About Grace? ECPA Christian Book Award for Christian Book of the Year (1998)
Where Is God When It Hurts? ECPA Christian Book Award for Inspiration (1978)
1) Can I add awards to book set too when they were added to the single books already?
2) In case I can add them would this be the correct way:
ECPA Christian Book Award for Christian Book of the Year for "What's So Amazing About Grace?" (1998)
ECPA Christian Book Award for Inspiration for "Where Is God When It Hurts?" (1978)
or should I add them chronologically? (The first book in the book set was written & awarded later than the second on)

No. Only if the award was given to the omnibus.
If you substitute even a single word in the award name or use different capitalization, GR will create a new award for the books, rather than having them appear with the existing award.
ETA: When the category includes any punctuation, such as Mystery/Thriller or Non-Fiction, you will need to use a 2-step process for adding awards. GR will simply create a new award if you don't, making for example
Audie Award for Mystery/Thriller
rather than the intended
Audie Award (and placing Mystery/Thriller) in the category box.
Add the award, then edit to add the category.
Goodreads no longer links to the award module on the Explore page and it seems the link is no longer readily available.
