Maggie knew the details about Daphne's abduction, including Wilson's identity, but never told Simone. Your thoughts about her decision? Should Simone have been upset or more understanding?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments Simone had a right to be upset. Maggie keeping Daphne's secret was devastating to her. But, I do understand why Maggie kept silent. Maggie should have encouraged Daphne to tell Simone, especially after Vivian died.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) I get why she didn't say anything when Maggie was young although she should have encouraged her to talk to her mom. Once she was older I think Maggie should have told Simone.

I agree, Danielle. That's quite a lot to have in the middle of a close friendship. She definitely should have encouraged Daphne to tell her mother.

CD {Boulder Blvd} (boulderblvd) | 39 comments I agree that Simone should have encouraged Daphne to tell her mom and then "the big secret" wouldn't hang between everyone for years. And with how close Daphne was to her Mom, I would think it would help heal her emotional pain.

Imagine how Simone could have helped Daphne get over the guilt. Maggie should have facilitated that.
