I found a book that was originally written in French (Les Misérables) by Victor Hugo and planned to read it this month but once I found out how big it was I kept it for another time.

Is there any suggestion?! I'd love to read a play translated from another language.

The first translated play that comes to mind is Cyrano de Bergerac.

I have read The Case of the Lamp That Went Out a couple of times now, and really enjoyed it. It has been translated from German. I think I'll read a few more of the stories in that series. (They're not very long.)

I am thinking about reading Arsene Lupin. It's written by a French author and translated into English. What's more, it's in the public domain.

Have started reading the first Lupin novel. It's a fun read.
