I loved this book. I did a full review on it already but my fave characters were Mike and Jared. I think I liked Jared a bit more because he was so supportive and selfless. I love him. Oh one of my fave parts is a bit of a spoiler so I won't say it but it was good. There are so many good parts that you'll have a tough time choosing too. I hope you all have fun reading this book. One of my best reads for 2016.

I read this book late 2015/early 2016 and I still remember how much I loved the concept of the "indie kids" and how although the storyline focused on "the rest of us," we got little glimpses of the indie kids' story. XD

I have passed this book WAY too many times on the shelf of the bookstore because:
1. My TBR pile is... Geezus I can't even see the top :/
2. I have no more space to store books at home now (and yup, I have used up all most every space under my bed, so no monster hiding under and waiting for me!)
3. But seriously I'm really confused, should I buy it or not?? I can Find ways to adopt books (well as long as they are books :P )

I might be in the minority here but I thought the book was kind of... boring? It was a cool concept, having it be about the kids who all those other YA books were about - and it was also fun to try to guess which YA book the indie kids were parodies of - but when it comes down to it the secondary characters aren't always the most interesting. Even though I do often like the secondary characters more than the main characters, their story lines just aren't enough to make an entire interesting book. (Does that make sense?). And of course I loved Jared, but then, wasn't he both kind of an indie kid, and a "secondary character" in this particular book?

I wish I had liked this more, because I loved both the Chaos Walking trilogy and A Monster Calls. @Natalie - you should definitely read more by Ness, his other books are amazing! I haven't read More Than This but I have loved all his others.

This was my first Patrick Ness book and I just didn't get all the hype. It was enjoyable but I didn't love it. I think I would prefer a book about the indie kids' story because it was more interesting lol
I read More Than This second, and I really didn't like it at all, but A Monster Calls is was one I did like a lot by this author. I plan to read The Knife of Never Letting Go soon, but I'm worried because I always hear it's everyone's least favorite by him, and I didn't find the other books that impressive...

I really liked the book that I finished in two days. The whole Indie thing was hilarious to me that I loved it. It was amazing how we get to see no non-chosen point of view of things so refreshing.

It is a great book very easy to follow and fun I recommend it.

I really loved The Knife of Never Letting Go, I loved that whole series, so don't be afraid!

Wow, there's a lot of love for this book on here. I'm in the 3 stars crowd. I listened to the audiobook. Maybe someday I'll give it another try and read the physical book and I'll see it in a different light. I'm a little wary of Patrick Ness now but I hear so many good things about his books! I started reading a preview of The Knife of Never Letting Go and I got into it really easily so I don't think I've given up.

I love love love Patrick Ness and was so excited for this book, but I was kinda let down by it...
