I have the same question.

Yesss it's such a great book! Casandra Clare creates a wonderful world full of demons and angels and werewolves and just about all mythical creature. There's some humor in there too and it doesn't seemed too forced. Definitely recommend.

I've never read the Angel Experiment, but I really enjoyed reading Legend. So I think you should read Legend. :D

message 5: by James (new)

James What is the maximum ride series and should I read it?

Denisse | 107 comments okie dokie. I'm currently reading legend now. Thanks Julie.

It's about these kids who have wings and other powers. It's really good. I've only read the first two but I really liked them.

@Denisse: No prob! ;)
@Sarah: Do you think I'd like the Maximum Ride series? It was one of my recommendations

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, it's a really fast and exciting read. They don't take very long to read and are really good.

1) Here's the site for the description since I'm not good at it: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
2) Yes! It's a really good series!

Anna James wrote: "What is City of Bones about and should I read it?"

It's about awesome shadow hunters (half angels, half human) and about all the crazy stuff that happens to them.
Like.. fighting demons, having (serious) issues with parents XD saving the world and other awesome things!
And...
THEIR ALSO WEREWOLF'S, VAMPIRES, WARLOCKS ANDDD FARIES INVOLVED IN THIS BOOK.. WHAAAAT!? Yeah, you heard me right ;)

This is my over excited description of the book that probably doesn't make any sense

Ayesha | 169 comments should i read divergent??? (my favourite genres are realistic fiction and romance)

Anna Ayesha wrote: "should i read divergent??? (my favourite genres are realistic fiction and romance)"

Well, everyone should read Divergent, but it's not a realistic fiction or romance. It's a Dystopian book, and there is romance involved but it's not about romance.
But it's really good and action packed!

I agree! Though, in my opinion, the second book was kind of boring, but the third was amazing.

I need some advice on what to read next. It's between:
The Knife of Never Letting Go (Patrick Ness)
Legend (Marie Lu)
Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Laini Taylor)
Gone (Michael Grant)
The 5th Wave (Rick Yancy)
Beautiful Creatures (Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl)
Paper Towns (John Green)
Anna and the French Kiss (Stephanie Perkins)

What did you guys think of these? Which should I read first?
Thanks :)

Anna (I know this is not actually the topic for this question, but I don't know where else I should ask it.)
Which book shall I read first?
Just One Day (Just One Day, #1) by Gayle Forman Or Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews

message 27: by Kimia (new)

Kimia carstairs (kimiacarstairs) | 216 comments Yeah I have the same question.should I read Just one day or not?

message 28: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 25, 2014 08:38AM) (new)

I personally haven't read just one day but my mum has and she really enjoyed it. I've heard amazing things about both Just One Day and Me Earl and the Dying Girl.

Okay. I've read the VA series and really enjoyed them. I was wondering whether to continue with Bloodlines. I tried reading book 1 straight after VA but because I had marathoned the whole series I felt like I needed a break. Is Bloodlines worth a read?

Speaking of Bloodlines, should I read that series or is it not worth it?

Tessa Clark | 71 comments i have heard some things about it but do you know what it's mostly about?

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

I didn't like the Hush, Hush series. The first two books for me were decent but the last two were poor. I couldn't finish Finale. One of the main reasons was that the plot too closely resembled Twilight (which I really enjoyed) and came to the point where I could predict what was going to happen. I know of lots of people that enjoyed it though, this is just my opinion.
