Yes, L, I've sort of been following that story. Perhaps they just jumped the gun on publishing their modeling results.

L. Riofrio | 28 comments Hee hee! "I will carry it!"

Your interest is appreciated. There is no need to disprove Einstein, just tinker around the edges. Einstein didn't disprove Newton.

However the inflation researchers may have jumped the shark in claiming proof before publishing. I went to the time and trouble of publishing a peer-reviewed paper. It's a free download:

Kenny Chaffin (kennychaffin) I know, I've read it. Thus the previous post with regard to both it and the BICEP2 work. :)

L. Riofrio | 28 comments Hi Kenny: Yes, I remember. You and about 5000 others have downloaded the article. Thanks! I hope the book gets downloaded that many times--it's a much easier read!

L. Riofrio | 28 comments The news is everywhere this weekend that BICEP2 and the "evidence" for cosmic inflation are just dust. How long can people ignore a solution that is simple, testable, and explains the universe better?
