Davie | 6 comments Looking for comments and feedback on my first, and probably only, book on Dark Age History. I am not a natural writer and the book could probably be better laid out and organised, so please be kind but honest, thanks.
It looks at the history of the dark ages and the works of Gildas, Bede, Nennius all play a prominent part providing evidence for my theory. The conclusion is a little bit unconventional but hopefully I have provided enough supporting evidence in the text. For those interested in this period of history, it also highlights the name of the very real war leader that has become known to us today as King Arthur

Walter Daniels (FBNGroup) | 1 comments I'll take a look at a PDF copy, although I can't guarantee how soon. I try to encourage new authors, since I had many do that for me.

Pauline Taylor | 2 comments I will certainly get the book and try to read it as soon as I can. I am an author myself and although I am signed up with good reads I have not got a clue how to ask people to review my books. the web site is far too difficult for me and I have a rubbish publisher. so I really feel for you. Please carry on writing if you have got the bug. I am now nearly at the end of my third manuscript and I have sold hardly any as Austin Macauley, my publishers tell me I have to do some of the marketing myself but I have not got a clue how to do this. You are very brave to ask people to comment honestly and I will get your book and read it as I am interested in history and this reflects in my fictional books. for your information my books are 1st book `Elly's Juxtapose` 2014 and my 2nd book `The Artefact`2016 by Pauline Taylor. what is the correct title of your book, this post does not even appear to have your full name on it. As I said rubbish web site.

Davie | 6 comments Hi Pauline, thanks for the reply. The book is titled "The History of the Scots, Picts and Britons and is available on Amazon - free on Kindle unlimited. It takes a different view of dark age British history but hopefully I have provided enough evidence to back up my theory. My author name is D F Dale. (keeping my anonymity - just in case no-one likes the book :))

Davie | 6 comments Hi Walter, thanks for the reply. I haven't go a pdf copy available yet but the book is available on Amazon.com, free on Kindle unlimited. I'll try to sort out a pdf copy though for the future as a few other sites look for one.

Davie | 6 comments I have updated my book - picked through some gaps on my own and added some new evidence to support my theory. Would appreciate some comments on The History of the Scots, Picts and Britons. It should be free on Kindle Unlimited - constructive criticism please though - it is my first attempt at this lark and I appreciate I'm probably nowhere near as professional as other writers.
