Stone Cold This book in the series reveals a lot about Oliver Stone. We learn his background and what happened to turn him into the Oliver Stone we've known in the past books of the series. I've enjoyed the Camel Club series and was happy to see that the next one in the series was published in '04 for the tag.
There are two stories going on at the same time. One story brings back Jerry Bagger the casino owner that Annabelle Conroy conned out of many millions of dollars. He's out to get her and he's getting close. Annabelle does not feel fulfilled after the con because it wasn't enough to pay him back for murdering her mother. So she's still after Bagger too. Its a mutual hate society.
In the second part of the story, someone is murdering government officials and the way its being done is very clever. We are told who it is and why he's doing it. He's a sympathetic character. Oliver gets embroiled in this and that's where we learn his real name and his hidden story. One sad point, we lose a member of the Camel Club.
The audio was well read by the narrator. He has just enough change in his voice that both men and women sound believable, very natural.
I didn't give it my usual high points because I thought the breaking up of the stories interrupted the flow, at least for me.
