hi i need some help i cant remember the title of the book. it is a scottish romance book it is about a boy who gets kidnapped and the heroine saves himand gets her arm cut and pretends to be the betrothed of the boys protector and they return him to his family who thought he died i believe tje boys fathers name is Alec. thanks for all the help

Ransom by Julie Garwood? In it there is a kidnapped boy named Alec whom the heroine Gillian saves. Alec is scared and cuts her arm in the process.
