Welcome to post #13 and our last community read post. This is a super exciting post and week in our community read because Jay Asher himself will be here this Thursday June 15 @ 4pm!! Come by the Main Library to join in on the discussion/Q&A.

Since the event will have a Q&A portion the community will have the opportunity to ask Jay Asher questions about the book, his writing, etc. I personally would love to know where the inspiration for Thirteen Reasons Why came from. What would you like to ask Jay Asher? Share down below!

Dizneeee | 5 comments This is an exciting event! Is it okay for adults to come? I wasn't sure since it seemed geared toward teens. I thought I might just send my book with Shannon to be signed. 😉

I'm not sure what I might ask Jay. 13 Reasons Why left such a huge impact on me and I think it's such an important story for all ages to read. When I read and reviewed this book y, I commented that itAu should be required reading for high school students.

Dizneeee, you can absolutely come! We would love to have you!

The book does provide a wonderful platform for conversations about difficult topics for all age ranges. These conversations are important to have and I'm glad we were able to share the book through our community read here at GCPL.
