New Adult Book Club discussion

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all having a wonderful day so far!

Unfortunately it has come to out attention that a few of you have been contacted by someone on Goodreads asking for you to send her the copy of the book you received. We want to stress the importance of NOT SENDING anyone a copy of the book you've been gifted.

Accepting a free copy of any book from an author is a privilege and should never be taken for granted. We have to remember that for some authors this is their main source of income. So we're asking that everyone please be respectful of this.

If you ever receive an email from someone asking for a copy of the book you received please let us know as soon as you can.

Please also remember that sending anyone the copy you've received is a crime. If we find out that anyone is resending out copies to other people we will be forced to remove you from this group and report you to Goodreads as well as notify the author who can alert their publisher and so forth. We really hate having to send this message out, but we truly value the relationships we've established with both you the reader and the many authors we work with as well. We'd hate to have to discontinue the Read It Review It Program because of this reason.

Furthermore for some books we will be requiring you to leave your Kindle emails instead. We will then post the authors Kindle address for you to accept and the author will send you the copy directly to your device, eliminating the threat of having their book redistributed to others.

Also please be aware of other groups and giveaways you participate in. Here at The New Adult Book Club we work very closely with our authors, if you are leaving your kindle address you will be getting that book from the author personally.

In retrospect some giveaways are done illegally and we'd like to make you aware of that and to never give your kindle address unless you know you will be receiving the book from that author.

just wanted to say that I'm sorry I haven't updated in a long time. I had been busy with finals and family and graduation. It had been a big week and now that I'm back in starting to see that updating anything I have up is going to be a bit of a challenge .sorry for inconvenience
