So it's July 1 here already so I've started....I read the prologue and I'm on chapter 1...too early to comment on anything... but I think this is going to be fantasy romance

There is a lot of characters! At least there is a "Cast of Characters" that tells who each character is
Chapter five.... I still don't know how I feel about this, it is interesting so far. There are 4 Povs. There's some things about the characters that I would like to know... talk of "secrets" has began getting on my nerves since another book I'm currently reading keeps mentioning aboot some secret and also others books I've read recently 😅 Must be patient. Although, I've been partially answered about 2 things I'm wondering about
Uh-oh I'm still stuck on chapter 2... got to catch up
Chapter 8... someone else mentioned having a "secret" 😭 I feel like the book jumps around from one person to another that it takes so long for something to actually happen.

Starting chapter 4... some talk of prophecies in hushed tones... but so secrets yet

Just finished chapter 5.. what were the things you were wondering about that have been answered?
I mainly just wanted to know who the baby from the prologue is, and I figured what the thing Cleiona is afraid of people knowing Im reading this without reading the discription... which would have been helpful if I had.... Ive been reading books without reading what they about first :)
Oh I do that as well..not read the blurb I mean.. I enjoy the book more that way
Ya, I find that it gets me more interested in finding out what it's about whereas knowing what to expectFinished chapter 8... Things are definitely starting to develop. So far interesting

Finished chapter 8.Wow! This one was really good
Reading Chapter 11Really good so far...the identities of the prophesied child and the witch from the prologue have kind of been revealed.

The watchers keep talking about one girl yet both Cleo and Lucia are being watched by birds.... I'm confused by this... let's see what happens
*SPOILER*About the Watchers... I was also confused about this, and am even more confused by it... because the beginning the watcher that we met in one of the chapters was talking about watching Cleo.... but as the chapter went by was only seen Watching Lucia, but no talk about Cleo actually being watched
Exactly! Now they are only watching one girl.... and the prophesied girl has been revealed and she's the one being watched
Chapter 19.... Things are really starting to happen... the past few chapters... especially Limeros chapters
How far along are you? I've to start with chapter 18
Ya and he never went back to watch Cleo after he said he was.... only the prophesied girl... but like I want to know why he wanted to watch Cleo
Yes chapter 17 was good... detailed descriptions of what these kindreds are and Eva and the goddess' backstory
*****SPOILERS*****By the way I don't think it was a hawk that was watching Cleo... The watchers are supposed to be in hawk form right? Lucia is clearly being watched by a hawk...but that once Cleo mentioned birds watching her..I don't think it was a hawk
About to start chapter 20 :) Ya that was really interesting, it gave us a story for the goddesses and who they are and what the kindred is, made things more clear
SPOILER Ya but if I remember correctly at the end of the chapter of Tomas being killed there was a mention of a hawk

Ok so there was a hawk at the death scene, but I had misread the part of which girl the watcher was talking about, he was talking about Lucia and he did continue to watch her Cleo just felt like she was being watched after the incident
When Cleo was talking to her sister about a bird watching her, however, it was actually just a dove
Yes that's right... even I had gotten a bit confused... that's for clearing it up :)

End of chapter 19That was really good!!! I think its getting better the more the story progresses.
So now even the king knows and even the hawk saw it!!!! Cant wait to see what happens next
End of chapter 21Isn't it foolhardy of Cleo to travel around under her own name? Surely she should have chosen a diff name for herself? Her name is very uncommon here and also after this huge political issue she should have known she'd be in danger if she uses her own name

Uhhh....so why is King Corvin simply not capturing King Gaius and the Chief... they are in his kingdom threatening war and demanding his surrender... surely inside his kingdom he has enough men to overpower/kill these two
End of chapter 21...It definitely is... like do expect to go unnoticed for so long under your very uncommon name.... but again when Nic had given her name she had noticed that herself, that they shouldn't have
I feel like there are many moments where it's like that..... It just like umm ???? you know you can do something here right????
Well they do have a backstory ready to tell people... maybe they should have decided to use a diff name for her when they call themselves siblings
Yes definitely, especially that they are claiming that they are from Limeros, so many good reasons for them to have figured to use a different name

Chapter 25Ugh this book is so juvenile in places... and the romance between Cleo and Theon... makes me want to roll my eyes

Spoiler Finished.... honestly I have mixed feelings about this. A lot has happened in the past chapters, a lot of expected and unexpected things
Everything is connected. All will be revealed when the time is too late
Cleo is definitely not the wisest, but poor her :( she lost so much in such a short period of time
