It's always risky plugging one's book, because you always end up in the wrong thread, or just sounding pompous. And here I am going ahead anyway: My legal thriller, The Guilty, has received several very good reviews on Amazon,.com and .uk, and I thought the beginning of summer would make sense to heavily discount it for anyone looking for something good to read while on vacation. So, starting from June 21 to 27 I'm running a Kindle Countdown promotion. The countdown promo is on and going well. The Guilty will continue to be discounted on Amazon.co.uk until June 27.

Hi Gabriel, I can't see that your book is in the Kindle Countdown Deal.

The little 'countdown box' is not showing on the book's page nor is it on the Kindle Countdown Deals' pages.

I just thought I'd let you know. Sorry to be the messenger!

Aargh! Frustrations never cease. Not sure why the countdown isn't working on .uk; it's up and running on Amazon.com. For those who are interested, maybe try getting the book fixed there until I get this bug fixed.

So it seems there's a technically incompetent person who managed to mess up my Kindle Countdown promo on Amazon.co.uk: namely me. Not sure how I did it, but I must have neglected to "save" my promo on .uk the first time around.
So...here we go again; while the promo is presently on over at .com, for those who can only get their Kindles through .uk the Kindle Countdown will be run from June 24-30. Check it out at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guilty-Gabrie....
It's still a very well-reviewed book at a great price for those who want to relax with a good read this summer.
