Here's the discussion for the final book in the Firebird trilogy.

How have you enjoyed this trilogy? Did you like where the ending took the story, or would you have done differently?

I enjoyed this trilogy but was a little disappointed with the end. It was too easy. There had been so much struggle within the series and all she did was (view spoiler)[have a chat with her parents in the other world (hide spoiler)] to resolve the conflict. I suppose the plan they put into action did have some problems but it seemed that they fixed it too easily.

(view spoiler)[ The clones made me laugh but I’m not sure how I feel about them. They added something interesting to the story, but again, it was just too convenient. (hide spoiler)]

What I did like about this one was how the found the world where (view spoiler)[ Marguerite and Paul where not only together, but had a child as it showed how they could be together. It was also amusing how Paul and her parents both arrived in the dimension to find themselves holding a child, something none of them seemed to expect. (hide spoiler)].

Overall, it was a good series though a little flawed (the science does not exist and may never do so, so please stop trying to explain what cannot be explained).

Finished this with a satisfied feeling. I agree that it all wrapped-up rather conveniently. (view spoiler)[If Paul and Marguerite had known all along that combining their Firebirds would solve everything, then why in the heck didn't they do it earlier? (hide spoiler)]

Perhaps, from time to time, I lost concentration while reading because occasionally I was confused upon realizing she'd moved to another dimension. It seemed kind of choppy and the world building wasn't as prominent with the shorter chapters in-verse, (view spoiler)[and returning to other dimension visited in previous books, felt a little like an easy way out. Overall, I enjoyed the series. It was my first experience with Claudia Gray's work and I am eager to read some of her other books.
