Sorry I was a little late in putting up a tie-breaker poll this month, and we lost a few days reading time! I apologize. I hope everyone really enjoys the book!

Teresa | 131 comments I read it as part of our school's annual Kindle tournament (it is our March Madness with books instead of basketballs). It was good and cannot wait to read the sequel.

Bkwmlee | 544 comments This one is on my TBR list but seeing that I've got quite a few books lined up already this month, I won't be able to join the group read. Hopefully I'll get to it at a later date.

Kelsey The premise of this book seems very interesting, and I'd love to give it a read some time. Unfortunately, I'm booked solid this August, (no pun intended, but now that I'm reading this over...hahaha) and I have no clue if I'll be able to read anything, except for my very fast reread of a series I read as a teenager. Hopefully I'll have the time soon to check it out!

I'll try to get around to it sometime, but it may not be this month. I hope those of y'all who are reading CARAVAL are enjoying it, and will comment on it here.

StarMan (thestarman) | 1942 comments There's no rush to finish CARAVAL, because we be the Book SNAILS!

But if you've started (or finished) Caraval, feel free to post any general comments or thoughts. No big spoilers, please.

StarMan (thestarman) | 1942 comments And I'll go ahead and post a general question:

► Do you agree with any of the big-name endorsements for CARAVAL below (hidden in spoiler to save space)? Or are they exaggerated or plain wrong?

(view spoiler)

Sarah (withanh) @starman Night Circus sets a high bar, so does Hunger Games. Though I enjoyed Caraval, I don't think it matches either of the aforementioned works. It isn't as smart and the protagonist isn't as strong, IMO.

Thanks, Sarah. Promotional quotes (from authors/publishers/etc.) on book covers or the first inside pages are often quite exaggerated, in my opinion.

StarMan (thestarman) | 1942 comments 3 discussion questions:

1. Do you have a favorite character in CARAVAL?
2. Did the beginning of the story grab your attention?
3. What one thing would you had done differently, if YOU were writing this book?

(no big spoilers please, or hide them in < spoiler > tags)
