Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo!

Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Hi, ladies!

I'm excited to be joining the team! :)

I'm a fan of One for Books, Books for All as well for team name. I would prefer not to be captain, as my computer time is unpredictable due to having three kids under the age of 3. Anytime I try to sneak a moment on the app or on my computer, I tend to miss something mischievous going on and have to drop what I'm doing quickly lol. That being said, if everyone else really doesn't want to do it, I have been captain before in previous rounds, so I don't mind doing it. I just usually can't get online until all the kids are in bed, so I would most likely miss posting shelf calls.

I can't wait to get started! I'll get my freespace book chosen ASAP!

Yay! Welcome! I am a total newbie to BSB but I can usually get on throughout the day M-F. Weekends are trickier. I don't mind trying out captain if no one else wants to but I would love some guidance if you guys don't mind. I'm still kinda unsure how it will all work but I learn fast!

I'm happy to offer any guidance/answer any questions you may have! BSB can seem a little overwhelming as a newbie, but it's way easier to play than it is to explain! :-)

If you would rather not be captain your first time, I can totally do it too. Or, if you wanted to co-captain, we could figure something out that way too. I did that once before. I can't remember exactly how it worked at the moment because I've been up since 3:30 this morning and my brain is starting to get fuzzy lol. Basically, I'm good with whatever you would like to do!

The captain thing seems to be iffy for us all. I'm doing some renovations at home so I'm unpredictable for when I'll be online (plus I rarely can check while at work).

If someone else would be able to handle posting the shelf announcement, I can handle keeping track of what we're all reading as well as requesting our stamps. Shelf announcements will be made during dinner time here, so that's the only thing I wouldn't be able to be on top of. :-)

I am on Eastern Std Time, so I will be driving home when the shelf announcement is made (6 pm for me) but I can post as soon as possible. Also, I know I will be delayed on posting for 8/16 - my daughter's only Wednesday volleyball game this season.

I think I know what I'm reading for the free space, but I need to double check that it will work. My kids should be taking their naps in an hour, so I'm going to check then. The 4 month old can be stubborn though, so we'll see lol.

The boys are actually being pretty well behaved as they eat lunch, so I was able to verify my free space book is on the group bookshelf. So I'm going with for my free space read.

lol! I remember those days! Sophia was always worried that she was going to miss something - even now at 11, bedtime is still an ordeal!

I think I know my free space book, too. I've been putting off book 5 of the Elemental Assassin series. No time like the present!

I love the Elemental Assassin series! I'm all caught up and have been thinking of starting over at the beginning.

I've lucked out with two really good sleepers in my older two boys. This new one though is throwing me for a loop lol. He fights sleep so hard!

That's me to a T, always hated having to go to bed. I still don't like going to bed, once I'm there I don't want to get up. LOL.

That is an amazing series. I think I'm finally all caught up for now. I also highly recommend her YA series (Black Blade and Mythos Academy)
