Title--Green Gardens
Word count--only 900 so far, but I'm writing more every night!
Age range--middle grade or early YA
Synopsis:
Fiona Maude Wells doesn't expect to fit in when she moves to the small farming town of Hythe, Oklahoma. With her blue hair, her outspoken manner, and her city upbringing, she knows she's different from the other residents. However, she soon discovers that life in the middle of nowhere isn't that bad. Hythe has its very own community garden, which brings the residents together.
Then CEO Victor Graeme, owner of the chain restaurant Fast Fries, comes to town, and he's bent on industrializing the community. Even if that means destroying a way of life.
Will Fiona and her new friends be able to save the garden and the town's culture?
