That was it and i wish you all a wonderful day :)

message 23: by Kristina (new)

Kristina Hello, Lovelies!

My name is Kristina, and my superhero name is the NEPA Book Fairy out of the bustling metropolis of Scranton, PA.

Less commonly, I also go by Mom but that's only from my three boys. I am married and I am a stay at home Mama Bear. I love to travel, especially camping around the northeastern United States. Many will argue, but it truly is a beautiful place to live and visit being rich with history, culture and geography. We have mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, oceans and so much more. My favorite, however, is the four strong and distinct seasons. Snowy winters, flower budding springs, warm and humid (that I don't love so much) summers and falls that are so beautifully colored the images will never leave your soul.

I should mention I'm a bit of a gabber and tend to be long winded. However, I feel that the gift of word is something that should be shared with love, positivity and gratitude and because of that, I tend to overshare so please forgive me.

I love contemporary fiction and literature as well as memoirs. I also have a soft spot for historical fiction of the Victorian age and Russian literature. I love me some Dostoyevsky.

Consider this post the first novel of our new book club.

Hugs,

K

Hi, this is J.M. Wong from Hong Kong!! My favorite genre of books is Fantasy, especially Urban Fantasy. I do read a few romantic novels but only when they have other meanings that can be brought out other than purely the element of love. Books I am currently reading include The Little Shop of Happy-Ever-After" by Jenny Colgan( Romance novel) and "The Magicians" by Lev Grossman (Fantasy novel). I am also writing my own Urban Fantasy series, so it would be create if anyone can recommend some folktales, fairytales, legends or fantasy works from their own culture or countries for me reference when I write my own stories because my aim is to create this magical world where all cultures are included and co-exists ^^

The last great one I read was Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi. I heard her previous books are excellent too. I can't wait to start exchanging book recommandations with you all. I work in the movie industry in Paris by the way. I have also always been drawn to the book world and would like to open a bookstore or work for a library one day.
