Rod Horncastle I'm excited to look into these. I don't see Baptism as a magic spell, anymore than I see O.T. Altar sacrifices as eternally significant. Unless the Holy Spirit is involved.

Amen. This is such a critical topic and yet so few seem to understand the various baptisms.

Rod Horncastle I've met many many people who got baptized and left the church soon after.
I assume it's an outward clue for Satan to get to work.

Yes, it can definitely be that. It is supposed to be a public declaration of faith in Jesus and His Gospel.
