Jennifer (jhaltenburger) How this challenge works: I post two pairs of letters. They have to be pairs that actually occur with reasonable frequency in English words, and to avoid making this more difficult than fun I'd like to suggest we stay away from Z and X. :-)

I post two pairs of letters. The next participant picks any book whose title contains any word that STARTS WITH either pair of letters, and posts the book as the one he or she is going to read for the challenge. They then repost the unused pair of letters, and pick a pair of letters to replace the one that has now been used. The next participant picks a book from his/her TBR that matches one of the letter pairs, reposts the other, and picks a new replacement pair.

Example: I post AL and RU. Sharon posts that she is going to read All the King's Men All the King's Men by Robert Penn Warren . She then reposts RU, and chooses CH as her next pair.

Barbara chooses Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie Bucket, #1) by Roald Dahl , reposts RU and chooses EM as the new pair.

Connie chooses Beautiful Ruins Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter , reposts EM and chooses BR as the replacement pair.

You can finish your chosen book before you repost, or you can do what I do and always have one going from your "double trouble" pick list but re-participate if you see something truly delicious come up that you have a book you're dying to read for...

I'll post the first pairs of letters-- come join the fun!

So a friend and coworker of mine with an unusual last name was behaving like a butthead one day, and coincidentally another coworker of mine happened to text me about him, and on her phone the very first time she typed his last name it autocorrected to "sorry I was a d--k"---

Yes, I do love autocorrect....

The series looks interesting and is set in South Dakota - pretty hard to find books for that one. Did you read the first one in series? If you did how did you like it?
