Also I think there was foreshadowing for a relationship between Helene and Harper, and if that's the case then I don't think the Laia, Elias, Helene love triangle of sorts will be an issue.
If Elias sorts out his feeling for Laia he just might find the solution for the Soul Catcher situation in the end. Because what we saw, the thing between them is nothing but lust. Although I think that will happen like, in the end of the book.
Fingers crossed for no love triangles
Fingers crossed for no love triangles

Also I know this isn't the original subject but can we talk about the cover change?
I don't know why they can't release different editions after the series is complete instead of changing them halfway through 😑
Well yeah, the cover could've been better

I have hope for them because he kept the necklaces(?) she gave him. It means he's not all done with her as he says.

Also I t..."
You obviously haven't read the whole book

ME TOOOO. But I'm not sure how they can end up together with a HEA. I'm sure there's a way Sabaa ma'am can make it happen tho! *fingers crossed* But I'm glad that Elias and Laia both have missions and issues independent of each other.

That's really interesting because once I listened to that part in the audiobook I was like, does this mean some part of or the whole being that is the Nightbringer's queen inside Laia? Is that where she gets her powers from and why Nightbringer has conflicted feelings towards her? It's really interesting to think about because Laia has to get her powers from somewhere and she and
Nightbringer have an interesting dynamic.

I agree. I have A Sky Beyond the Storm on my kindle, but I am terrified to read it. LOL. Plus I know once I start I won't stop and I have work. Guess I will find out what happens this weekend! *bites nails*
