Kristen Peppercorn (kiwicanread) | 24 comments What is your favorite book of all time and why?

One of my goals for 2018 is to try and read other people's favorite books, to try and see it through their eyes, and find out why they like it so much, as well as whether or not I'll feel the same way about it. I find it so interesting how one person can adore a book, while the next person hates it with a fiery passion.

I've read every single one of those books. haha. Which one is your absolute favorite of all time? I'll add that one. I'm surprised nobody said Harry Potter. :P

Bee (beemcreads) Oh gosh, I can't name just one haha. Harry Potter used to be my favourite but I'd have to say The Maze Runner series has taken that spot. I adore The Martian and Cassandra Clare's series of books

Gasp! How can The Maze Runner beat Harry Potter? :-O

I'll add The Martian to the list since I haven't ever read that one.

Bee (beemcreads) I guess because Harry Potter has kinda been thrust in our faces that some of the magic has died down a bit for me. Although I am a member of a fan site that's been around for about fifteen years.

I hope you enjoy reading The Martian!

Barbara | 1 comments I think any books by Agatha Christie or Rex Stout would be a favorite of mine.

I own the (British) paperback, American hardback/cover, the e-books, and borrowed my older sister's ipod for the audiobooks for Harry Potter, and other than reading book 1 when it first came out, I haven't read or listened to the other books in the series!! I hope to read or listen to them some day... :-D
