The investigation had many elements considering that The Professor had a drug enterprise and a pedophile film operation. Was it difficult to follow or were the procedurals handled logically? Your thoughts about the investigation as a whole?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I could hardly fathom that he also had a medical practice that appeared to be respectable on the outside.

That was incredible but gave him the cover and connections he needed.

I loved the investigation and how it was cobbled together by the different team members on the task force. Really was interesting.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments The police had two distinct operations to investigate. The procedurals were handled great and I didn't notice any oblivious plot manipulations. Given that this guy had a vast network and didn't hesitate to kill anyone as either revenge, as a message, or to tie up a loose end, the police and FBI had a lot to cover.

I agree, Anita. This case had a lot of tentacles and law enforcement did a great job working together.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 52 comments This was one of the easier plot and associated characters to follow in this series. Maybe because we are a couple of books into this arc so the main characters are familiar. I did have to stretch my mind back to some of the secondary characters such as Kendra and Meredith though.
