Just started last night but since I can't make the meeting I figured it didn't matter much. We met for my other book club last night and the reviews were mixed.

I'm not going to be done with this one in time for book club. You don't get much beach reading done with a 6 month old and a 4.5 year old.

I know! I always bring my book to the beach and the pool thinking I'm going to read so much and I'm lucky if I get to open the book.

I want to punch this book in the face. I don't know if it's because I'm listening to the audio but there are so many over exaggerated characters in this book it's making me crazy. Her mother is absurd

I pretty much felt the same way. A lot of the characters read like something out of a satire but the book overall didn't feel like a satire so it was pretty disjointed.

Lynn | 131 comments Thank goodness it wasn't only me! I thought it was due to the audio as well but everyone of them was annoying.
