Sharon Phillips | 16 comments This book was part of the latest Scholastic Standing order and I picked this one to read first because of the beautiful hardcover and interesting illustrations. Unfortunately for me that is where the enjoyment stopped. I struggled through it hoping for some sort of clever ending or plot twist. Unfortunately this was not the case. No resolution whatsoever, but rather "to be continued..." Needless to say I won't be reading the sequel, due out next year. In my opinion a better fit for middle primary than intermediate.

Jane (janeboniface) | 123 comments I totally agree Sharon. I only got as far as the first two chapters. I thought it was a poor imitation of "A Series of unfortunate Events". The cover was the best thing about it!
