Crash {Stranded RP} discussion

This is the thicker part of the trees, and it takes up quite a bit of the island itself. However, this is the place where fresh water runs and often you can find plenty of animals here. Only a few people likely ended up here without getting killed first by the onslaught of branches. Anyone still alive in this forest would be in pretty bad shape as far as cuts and bruises go.

Coben walked silently through the forest, a spear held tightly in a two handed grip with its tip pointing directly ahead of him. He had found a strong straight branch just off the beach and split it down the middle on one end before wedging the grip of his tanto between the two halves and wrapping it securely with twine. The wrap had then been coated in sap and now held the knife securely. He was still expecting to find some sort of hostile creature or people on the island. This was the direction the other soldier had indicated had water so here he was, trecking through the jungle in body armor made for use in a desert environment, sweating profusely. He hated wearing the bulky tan and brown equipment, but if he did run into something out here it would protect him well enough. As long as it came at him with bullets and not teeth. It took a few hours, but eventualy he came upon a freshwater stream apparently running down off of the mountain. With a sigh of relief he got down on one knee and scooped water up with his right hand, bringing it to his mouth to drink while still keeping his spear in his left and scanning the area. A watering hole like this would be a good spot to find some sort of animal, and whether it was hostile or not he wanted to see it before it saw him.
