End chapter 6(view spoiler)[The story pretty much is playing out the summary but it's fun and I'm loving it so far. When I think of tomboy I think of a makeover down the road and the mini makeover that Charlie got in the store she works at was quite realistic and not over the top. I'm loving the family dynamics as well. (hide spoiler)]

End chapter 20(view spoiler)[Holy moly I thought for a moment Braden was gonna confess his feelings I was so excited for Charlie then it turns out he Prob wants to tell her something about her mother. Her brothers are hiding the truth! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 29 (view spoiler)[I was expecting the book to skip over camp / Charlie to be unable to focus at camp and not talk to anyone but that's not the case. she's doing her best and has a good chat with Susie :) (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 35 (view spoiler)[The misunderstanding from Braden in this chapter was so sweet and the way Braden and Charlie Confessed to each other was perfect! I'm grinning so muchXD (hide spoiler)]

Devoured this book like multiple ice block on a summers day haha. I freaking loved it! It was amazing how glued to the story I was. The ending linked back to stuff that happened earlier in the book and the dialogue was so cute!!!

I started this book with the intention to just read a portion then move not my other buddy read for the day, but . . . now I'm at 62 percent! I can't bring myself to put this book down for very long.

We never found out what Braden wanted to tell her that night (when she mistook it for a confession - boy, was that hilarious!)

It was adorable how the second time round, Charlie mistook Braden again and this time he wanted to confess to her! That would explain all that jealousy! (hide spoiler)]

Hi! I'm joining! Started last night.

Chapter 1: (view spoiler)[Good start! This is what I liked about West's writing. They are light, smooth and easy to engage in. Excited to read more! Haven't read the synopsis of this but I think Braden'll be the love interest?! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7: (view spoiler)[Wow, I'm liking this. Seems like another character-driven book by West. Looking forward to know more plot-wise. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15: (view spoiler)[Sibling love is such a touching theme or central idea in a story, but I think this one's a little exaggerating. Brotherly love, to be specific. I know brothers and sisters can be different, but this was overanalyzing how brothers are to their sisters. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17: (view spoiler)[I love how this doesn't solely focus on the romance, but on Charlie's character growth and discovery and grief to her mom. I really sympathize with her, on how badly she wants memories of her. I hope she stops hiding her girly self to her family soon. The soon to be romance on Braden is not instant. It's going to take time for both of them to realize and I hope it'd stay for a couple more chapters. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 20: (view spoiler)[Well, at least, she's starting to feel normal on the girly side but her brothers are overreacting. I know this is adifferent and unfamiliar Charlie to them but no need for condemnation and involving their dad. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 36: BEST CHAPTER EVER!!!! (view spoiler)[This is so relatable, now! I have not encountered grief with my mom or dad, but I can totally empathize with Charlie. She's grown a lot in this book! I love braden, and I totally love her brothers! Their overprotectiveness and brotherly care all makes sense now! I take back the exaggerating adjective. This book is so special. (hide spoiler)]

I thought I should let you know that there are Major trigger warnings for-
driving over speed, working a job as a ten, depression, suicide, anxiety, car accident, parental abuse, implied divorce

Some stuff really triggered me, so I can’t rate it now. I forgot to check warnings before starting. It was my bad. :(

So sorry, I usually don't check warnings because so little ends up triggering me than grief and explicit violence and gore sometimes, so contemporary books are never checked by me. Hope you're doing okay now!

I do like Brayden though, and I'm excited to see how they'll get together.
I also think that Charlie's mother was depressed or something? Not sure about this though, just a theory.

I totally agree. That was exactly how I felt. It was very annoying.
Honestly, I liked this book less compared to other books but this author.
