Crash {Stranded RP} discussion

Coming to the edge of the East Beach's forest, it's almost as if the Ocean used to wash up right against the line of trees and dragged all the sand and soil away. The small drop off is only around 4 feet maximum, however, it can be tricky to climb because of the loose soil and sand brought up by the small flowing streams. This is often a trap for some animals that may be unable to climb the distance or jump up onto the edge, but it may present itself the perfect opportunity for food. These trees here at this edge also have small bushes surrounding them with berries and fruits of random... but no one knows if they're poisonous or not.

Vee walks out from the trees. She had left the others for a moment. She was totally freaked out. How could that guy aim the gun at her when they just met. She didn't even do anything. She finally comes to the edge of the forest where most of the bushes were. She smiles at the site of all the little fruits that hanged. She was hungry and tired. Maybe a sweet berry would help, or a few. She reaches out to take some, not even thinking if their poisons.

Caleb sighed and swiped his forehead. Then he saw the line of trees and noticed the fruit. He quickly made his way over to it. Then a thought hit him. These may not be safe to eat, he thinks. Caleb stopped short. Out of the corner of his eye he saw another girl. He turned on his heel. Caleb saw her looking at the berries. He slowly came closer and stopped at a reasonable distance.
"I wouldn't eat those without knowing if they are poisonous or not." He tells her.

Vee noticed movement just before she eats someone. She stopped to look and see a guy near her. "Really?" She asks sadly as she looks back down to them. Thy looked so nice and juicy. "How do you make are if they are or not?" She asks him as he brings her gray eyes back up to look at him. He would probably know and help her. She would really need that if she was to survive in this place.

Caleb smiles and comes a little closer. He looks down at the fruits in the bush.
"Yeah, they do look good don't they?" He asks her with a smile. Then he nods.
"There are ways to know if they are poisonous or not. My aunt taught me how to. It's quite easy. I can teach you if you'd like." He explains to her. Caleb waits for her to respond.

Vee nods yes to his offer. "That would be great if you don't mind" she says. She looks him over quickly, taking in his black hair. His facial hair which meant he must be twenty or older. He had nice build to his body do he seemed perfect for a situation like this. "Is their anyone else with you?" She asks him as she steps closer to him, tying to get a nice view of what he would be showing her.

Caleb nods slowly. Then he shakes his with a humorless laugh.
"No I have no one with me. I am alone. Well was alone." He explains to her. Then he saw her checking him out. He smirked and laughed slightly. Caleb took a step forward and passed her to grab a berry.
"Okay, first you want to examine it. See if you remember this looking like any other fruit you ate before." Caleb explains.

She takes the berry and looks at it, listing to his instructions. "Umm... What if i have a bad memory" she admits looking up to him. "I don't usually study my food before i eat it" she says to him. "But it does look like the berries my mom gets... At less i think it does" she looks back to the berry. Her multicolored hair- purple from the head then aqua blue and mint green at the end- that was in a ponytail swinging.

Caleb laughs and nods.
"I know it's weird studying your food. But I think it's better then getting poisoned. And if you don't recognize it rub the berry against your arm lightly. And wait to see if a rash forms." He tells her slowly. He noticed her hair and smiles. It was pretty cool with all the different colors.

She takes the berry and runs it against her skin just like he told her. "If i get a rash i blame you" she waits to see if she would feel a niche or if her pale skin would start to turn red and a rash would form. "How long will it take?" She asks him. She kept her gaze on her hand to see if their will be any change. "Hey" she looks up to him "why couldn't you do it, your the teacher here" she asks.

Caleb shrugs.
"Well if it's poisonous you better hope you get a rash so you know not to eat it. And it take about twenty minutes. Usually then it should be safe. Then you brush it against your lips. See if you lips start to feel funny or weird. Still if it's poisonous it won't be deadly because you didn't eat it." He explains. Then Caleb laughs.
"Well, if it's poisonous I don't want the rash either." He says.

"Against my lips?" She asks him. He really did know how to teach her the basics about seeing if food is safe. "I'm thinking you should do that. I already true on my skin so if i get a rash you can at less get one too" vee was only being fair, and also safe. She didn't want to test it on her lips for one thing. "Just do it" she tells him. She looks at her hand. twenty minutes she thinks. It did seem like a lot since she would like to go back and see if brain and Clair aren't killed yet by that crazy man.

Caleb looked at her with a raised brow.
"I'm only teaching you. Anyways if you want to learn you have to do it on your own. I did, the hard way too." He explains to her politely. He cocks his head to the side and waits for her.
"What's your name?" He asks her curiously. Caleb crossed his arms watching her. His eyes fall onto her hair again.

"Fine" he says bring the berry up to her lower lip an softly brushing it. She was hoping it wasn't poisons. For one things she really wanted to eat them as second she didn't want a rash. Who doesn't wish for those two things in a situation like this. After what vee thought was enough she lowers the berry and looks at him again. With a sweet smile, one that she would always have, she says "I'm Vee. What about you?"

"I'm Caleb. And by the way that berry isn't poisonous. You can eat it." He tells her with a smirk. After he met her he recognized the berry but he wanted her to know how to find out if it was poisonous or not. And he thought she did good enough. Caleb picked the same kind of berry off the bush and dropped it in his mouth.
"It's very good." He tells her.

Vee bad wen waiting to see if she would feel anything weird. But she didn't have the feeling. Maybe it would come twenty minutes later just like the rash would. So she waited for it and just listened to him. Celeb seemed like a nice name. "What?" She disbelief. "You the whole time and kept me waiting? I was scared if i got a rash. " she smack him in the arm, but very gentle. She then takes a berry and places it in her mouth. The sweet and sour exploding on her tongue. "Yah it is" she agrees.

Caleb laughed and smiled at her reaction. He shrugged again.
"Sorry, but I at least wanted to have a little fun. And I didn't want the berry you were trying to see if it was poisonous or not actually be poisonous. Because getting a rash and having numb lips right after a plane crash wouldn't be much fun." He explains.

"No" she agrees, now a little sad. She thinks about the crash. The horrible screams and scary fall. She didn't think this would happen. It was sad to think of it. Many lives were taking away. Lucky she survived and lost no one. But the thought of trying to survive on an island that isn't even on the map was horrible. She thinks about it. Trying to survive and avoid wild animals.

Caleb sees her expression falter. He sees different emotions cross her face. He was confused at first then realized she was thinking about the plane crash. Caleb shook his head trying not to think back to it. He hated remembering the screams and not being able to do anything.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring it up again." He tells her.

"No" she says shaking her head to get rid of the thoughts and show him she was fine. "Its just.... It doesn't seem so real" she says slowly picking the berries without looking at him. She wanted to stop thinking about it. But that seemed impossible. "It seems like a dream that i cant wake up from. One that i will be stuck in forever" she brings up one and places it on her tongue

Caleb nods. He sighs and rubs his forehead. He looks around the area.
"I know. But I think the biggest problem we all have right now is survive as long as possible and try to get off the island before we all end up dead." He tells her. Caleb sighed deeply again. Not sure what to do now.

When vee had at less a handful of berries, she finally looks up to him. "Well i should get going" she tells him. Thinking of walking away, she doesn't. She dint think it would be right to leave him after he helped her. She wouldn't feel right about it. She would at less have to offer him the idea of joining her. "Why don't you come with me. Theirs a girl and and a guy with me and we have supplies. Theirs also this guy we met with this girl... But I'm not sure if we should join them" she says thinking about the gun he pointed at her.

"Okay then. Well good luck to you then." He tells her. Then he turned away from her to the berries thinking she had left. When she spoke again he turned surprised she was still there. Caleb listened to her and shrugged.
"What do you mean you probably shouldn't go back? Weren't you just gonna?" He asks her raising a brow.

"No i mean the guy and girl that me and the others found. The guy had a guy and pointed it at us. But I'm asking you if you want to come with us. We could help each other" she explains. She didn't mean to confuse him or anything. "Since your alone maybe it would be easier to come with else and stick together. But i don't want to force you or anything. You probably better off alone. I don't know "

Caleb looked down at her surprised. His eyes widened.
"So you want me to come back with you where there is a guy who is holding everyone and gun point." Caleb says with a laugh. He nods and then shrugs.
"I'm just kidding, and sure I'll come with you. I rather not stay out in the forest on a unknown island all alone." He tells her.

She left like smacking her head when se thought he understood her wrong. She didn't feel like explaining it i him again. But his laugh made her smile and know he was joking. "Well then, follow me" he tells him as she starts to make her way through the trees and towards the crash site. She still held the berries in her hands for the others.

Caleb gathered a couple more berries and threw them into his pockets and held some in his hand. He ate three more before stopping. Caleb followed girl in front of him. He wondered who and what exactly he would find when he got to the crash site. What would he see? Would there be any remains that they could use for shelter? Caleb smiled having so more hope now.

jim woke up still strapped to his seat not wasting any time he did a self assessment to see if he was injured when he realized he wasn't injured he unbuckled himself from his seat he looked around looking for something he could use as a weapon he found a sharp piece of a metal rod he grabbed it and knowing that his bag was in the main cabin of the aircraft he made his way to the aircraft.
