Snow Crash discussion

"Snow Crash" doesn't exactly have an epilogue, so the characters' eventual fates is left to our imaginations.

In Stephenson's next book "The Diamond Age," it's heavily implied that the elderly Miss Matheson is Y.T. I like this theory, though it sadly means that Y.T.'s thrasher career ended with a broken spine. At least she didn't lose her pizazz.

Then there's Da5id, whose fate in the book always horrified me. But I've come to think it would be great if he finally awoke from his vegetable state, thinking he's a Sumerian god, and starts a new strange cult.

Anyone else have their own speculations to share?
