Marwajan | 14 comments Hello, I remember a scene when hero bought heroine and threatens her that he will sell her away. She was terrified and cried and begged alot. And another scene in a modern dark romance when hero took heroine to police station and told her he will jail her now (She did nothing, hero was manipulative). She was also very scared and cried and begged till she lost conscious.
Can someone mention something like this.
thanks

Vellini | 68 comments The modern dark romance, I think, is the "Forced trilogy" by Julia Ban . Can you be more specific for the first book, is it a historical or a modern romance?

Marwajan | 14 comments Hello thanks for answering Villini. Yes I liked Forced Trilogy and found this scene different. The other scene was in a historical romance think it was heroine's mothd er who sold her but not sure, and I'd like something like this where hero is a total ass trying to break heroine seriously and she's not enjoying the situation as I hated fifty shades very much

Jiha | 118 comments Hi Marwajan. This scene in the Forced trilogy drew my attention too. Have you read Consequences by Aleasa Romeg? I think there was a scene where the very cruel hero was forcing heroine to watch some video (of him hurting her before or something) and she was crying and begging him to stop because she cant stand the memory and she was ready to do anything he wanted by the end of the scene so that she doenst see the video.

Yes Jiha, you're right about "consequences" but I didn't like it
because the heroin was such a doormat, with no pride or dignity, the H was very abusive, in one scene he'd beaten her till she lost consciousness and was in a Coma for several days, and after that she'd forgiven him very easily, it's just an example among a lot in this series (I stopped after the 2nd book)

I understand what you mean when you say that you hated FSOG (H abusive/ h asking for more), you should try all Addison Cain books, she really know how to make you pine for a villain

In this one as well the hero buys the heroine and she works in his house as the house keeper or maid
