G-Raff | 5 comments Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this group so this is a quick hello to like-minded souls! I quit my job in June and have spent the last 4 months writing my own self-help book called "Conquer Your Everests". It offers bite-sized solutions to some of the core issues many of us struggle with covering topics such as "Controlling Your Thoughts", "Overcoming Fear", "Dealing with the Past" and more
I believe anything that helps nourish and expand the soul should be free where possible.
Am happy to submit a PDF to anyone who's interested in a free read!

Stephen Willis (stephenjwillis) | 13 comments I thought I would just say well done to you for doing something so brave! Not easy to quit your job and do something like that, how have you been finding it?

G-Raff | 5 comments Hi Stephen! Just posted to your Facebook page...
Well quitting your job is never an easy choice to make. You sacrifice security...or rather what your brain considers to be "Secure". When you break it down, all I really gave up was a regular income but what I got in return was piece of mind, emotional freedom and a new life. So I lost financial security and gained emotional security!
It took me a while to work out what I wanted and I wandered a little aimlessly for a few months but then as is the way of the universe, eventually I found my calling - I enrolled at College in Melbourne and am now studying psychology! The lesson from the last 6 months? Sometimes the universe needs time to put things into place for you but you'll always end up where you're meant to be....
Hope everything is going well with you...have made a note of your book, "What's the time Mr Wolf"....when I free up some cash. I'll buy it!

Stephen Willis (stephenjwillis) | 13 comments Hi G-Raff, sorry I don't come on here often enough and keep missing things!

Sounds like things worked out really great, I would take emotional security over financial security any day! I'm so pleased for you.

Ah nice to hear on my other book. I do hope you like it. It is certainly very different to the short story you read! Haha
