I know another one, it's called "Fairyloot". They send you one book, a sample and some goodies.

I know of Uppercase, Whimsify, and one called Bookcase, or something similar to that. I’ve never purchased any, though.

I personally like more of the items from Fairyloot. But there’s also Shelflovecrate and their sister boxes, owlcrate, unicorn crate, litjoy. If you’re a big fan of YA fantasy Fairyloot is probably good for you, though it is more expensive and there is the shipping cost (UK based). If you’re in the US and like fantasy, shelflovecrate might be better cost wise. I haven’t completely checked out all of these boxes though, so let me know how it goes!

I've been getting Owlcrate since May and I absolutely love it! If you pay for the six month subscription and then use a booktuber's coupon code it works out to around $30 a month. They will even let you skip months if the theme is not something you're into.

I would love to do Fairyloot because the books are always great and they do a lot of tote bags and things like that, but the shipping to the US is way too expensive for me. There are also subscription services such as Page Habit and Bookly Box where you get less items, but the books are author annotated or the money helps charities so it may be of more value to you.

I get the PageHabit box and they send a new book of your chosen genre- with post-it annotations from the author, a gadget, bookmark, a short story and a letter from the author. What I especially love is that the packing is zig-zags of brown cardboard instead of styrofoam peanuts. You can also add on a book of another genre to be delivered with your genre box. I've gotten it delivered once so far (it delivers worldwide, I'm in New Zealand and almost no boxes deliver here!) and I'm quite happy with the quality of the items and the book. I absolutely LOVE the annotations, my very favourite part!

I have been trying out a couple different boxes for a couple of months now. My top box is OwlCrate and my second is BookLoot. I loved Enchanted Book Box but is very expensive. I am trying Whimsify for my December box.

I can say, hands down, the best are Illumicrate (first), FairyLoot (second) and Owlcrate (third).

Are Illumicrate and Fairyloot expensive because of international shipping? Yes, about $70 a pop.

I got my first fairyloot box in September and I loved it! I'm trying unicorn crate this month!

Sorry to revive this... But I've always wanted to get a subscription book box. I wanted fairyloot but it's not available for another 13 days so I just got the February box from Illumicrate and will get the fairyloot box when I can. Does anyone have a favorite sub box they get? If you're in the US is fairyloot really worth the shipping price? lol

I subscribe to Fairyloot. Its roughly $42/month. I have been with them since July 2019. Great books that are signed, cool goodies that are useful too (pencils, bookmarks, coasters, silverware- just to name a few). However, they send me an email when they've printed the shipping label but usually I dont get my box until 2 or 3 weeks later so it's a little aggravating waiting for it. pros and cons I guess

I really like UnicornCrate but it recently switched to being single purchased only now (no auto-pay subscriptions). I think it's very similar to Fairyloot, but is US based so North American shipping is way cheaper.

I enjoyed FairyLoot when I used to sub, but found that it came with too many useless items (keychains, pocket mirrors, tea infusers with whole so big the tea leaves spill into your drink, etc.) There are always 1-3 really cool items in the box too, but the extra items are totally not necessary. Idk why they don't just cut their number of items to just the god stuff and maybe reduce the box price a little. It felt like I was becoming useless item hoarder when I used to sub!

I've never tried owlcrate but I always hear rave reviews about them/

There's Once Upon A Book Club and Book of the Month Club, both have YA and Adult options. I haven't tried either, but I've seen both. BOTM is just a book (you can select one out of 5) and a cookie, while OUAB has items that are tied into the book itself.

Fairyloot, without second thoughts.
It has items that are unique and very creative.
Their exclusive editions of books are so stunning and the artowrk they includ can not be compered with anyone else.
I have recently bought one of them and I am very satisfied with the quality of the items!
Have you seen their collector's editions boxes?They are enchanting!
